Mr Trim: Artist Biography

Born in West London and raised in Slough within a traditional Traveler family, Mr Trim's artistic identity is defined by a life spent in motion and a dual fascination with visual culture and botanical science.

At age 21, he relocated to the United States, immersing himself in the vibrant San Francisco art scene while working as a gallery assistant. It was in the Bay Area that he first encountered the sophisticated world of California cannabis.

This sparked an obsession that transitioned from appreciation to mastery. Following the industry shifts of 2010, he left the gallery world to live and work on a farm in Northern California, dedicating four years to cultivating high-grade cannabis. However, as corporate regulation began to dilute the soul of the culture, he sought a new direction. 

In 2014, Mr Trim moved to Denver to formalize his technical skills, enrolling in the prestigious Lab Society to study advanced cannabis extraction technology. He spent the following years refining his craft at a family-run dispensary, bridging the gap between organic cultivation and chemical extraction.

Returning to his roots in Slough in 2018, he took a sabbatical to reconnect with his initial passion. It was during this period of introspection that his two worlds collided. By synthesizing his background in high-end horticulture with his background in art, the persona of "Mr Trim" was born. Today, his work stands as a testament to that journey—a marriage of the Art and the plant.
